Every year, UTEX accessions new algal strains from depositors that are made available to the public. If a strain fulfills the Criteria for Accession of New Algal Strains Into the UTEX Collection & Taxonomic Considerations for Algal Cultures, depositors should download the Public Strain Accessioning/Deposition request form below. No strain should be sent for possible accession into the Collection without prior approval by the Curator.
