Credit Cards

UTEX can only accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards online. We currently do not accept American Express or Discover credit cards.

Check

We accept checks in United States Dollars (USD) only. You may need to request a Proforma Invoice|Quote for the accurate amount. Please note that payment by check is the slowest payment method. Orders will not be placed until payment is received and verified.  Make checks out to UTEX Culture Collection of Algae and mail to the following address:

Bank Transfers/Wires

UTEX does not accept wire transfers or bank-to-bank transfers as payment.

Ordering Policy

Orders that are purchased by individuals or commercial companies are required to pay in advance. Any exception must be approved in writing by UTEX before the order can be processed. Only United States Academic and Government Institutions that maintain separate shipping and billing addresses may pay after receipt of their order. A purchase order number and the address to which the bill should be sent to must be provided on a business letterhead with the order. Full payment is due within 30 days of receipt of the order.
