Orders are only shipped on Mondays (or Tuesday following a Monday holiday). No cultures are shipped during the weeks of Christmas and New Year's Day.

Cryo Only Shipping Policy:

Strains that are maintained in cryopreservation only are designed "Cryo Only" on their respective pages and in the search filters. Cryo Only strains require a 4-week minimum processing time period to thaw, grow out, and check viability before shipment. The entire order will be delayed until all "Cryo Only" items are ready for shipment. If the order also contains non-"Cryo Only" item(s) and you do not wish for them to be delayed, please place separate orders for "Cryo Only" and non-"Cryo Only" items.

Bulk Microalgae Shipping Policy:

UTEX does not maintain algal cultures in large volumes, each bulk culture is inoculated and grown when an order is placed and will take a minimum of 4 weeks before delivery. If you ordered multiple items with item, as per our policy, the entire order will be delayed until the bulk microalgal culture is ready for shipment. If you do not want the other items delayed until the bulk is ready, then please place separate orders for the bulk microalgae culture(s) and the other items.

Freshwater Diatoms Collection (FD) Shipping Policy:

These items require a 4-week minimum processing time period to inoculate, grow out, and check viability before shipment. If your order contains items other than FD-designated strains, as per our policy, the entire order will be delayed until all Freshwater Diatoms items are ready for shipment. If you do not wish for the other items to be delayed, please place separate orders for "FD" and non-"FD" items.
